Join a dynamic team as a Video Editor focused on producing high-impact educational content for digital platforms. This full-time contract role is ideal for an editor who thrives on creative autonomy and is passionate about transforming raw footage into compelling, audience-retaining videos. You will collaborate closely with a producer to craft both long-form YouTube videos and short-form clips for vertical platforms, as well as ad content for Meta and Google. The position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of narrative flow, and the ability to enhance clarity and engagement through thoughtful editing and the integration of graphic elements. You will play a key role in maintaining a consistent brand style and suggesting improvements to maximize viewer retention and trust.

Responsibilities
* Edit long-form educational YouTube videos from raw footage, ensuring clarity and engagement.
* Create short-form video clips optimized for vertical platforms such as TikTok and Instagram Reels.
* Develop ad content tailored for Meta and Google platforms.
* Collaborate with the producer to understand project goals and deliver polished final products.
* Add visual emphasis, overlays, and After Effects/graphic elements to enhance viewer experience.
* Maintain a consistent brand style across all video outputs.
* Suggest improvements for video structure, pacing, and flow to maximize audience retention.
* Deliver high-quality videos on schedule, making independent creative decisions as needed.
Skills And Requirements
* Proven experience editing both long‐form and short‐form video content, preferably for educational or informational channels.
* Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related video editing software.
* Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement strategies.
* Ability to work independently and make creative decisions without extensive supervision.
* Experience adding motion graphics, overlays, and visual effects to enhance video content.
* Excellent organizational and time‐management skills to meet deadlines.
* Familiarity with YouTube, Meta, and Google ad content requirements is a plus.
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
* Availability for a full‐time contract position; remote work is acceptable.
