About the Role
As a Housing Officer, you will act as the local, on-the-ground point of contact for Everhomes in Townsville. You'll build strong relationships with tenants, support networks, and local stakeholders, and provide practical, responsive support across our housing portfolio.
While Everhomes has a dedicated maintenance team, you'll play a supporting role by helping to facilitate maintenance when required — particularly during move-ins, property preparation, inspections, or periods of high demand. You'll also oversee the move-in process locally, with administrative support from our central team for tenancy documentation.
This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and meaningful face-to-face work, while still being part of a supportive broader team.

Key Responsibilities
* Act as the local contact for tenants and stakeholders in Townsville, including attending properties as needed.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with NDIS participants, support coordinators, guardians, and other local service providers.
* Support tenant move-ins and exits, including coordinating access, overseeing processes, and completing entry and exit condition reports.
* Conduct routine property visits and inspections to ensure homes remain safe, suitable, and well-presented.
* Assist with facilitating maintenance activities where required, in coordination with the maintenance team.
* Support SDA property viewings and local engagement activities.
* Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks related to housing support and tenancy management.
