The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning and Laundry Team Leader to work across our client's aged care facility located in Tamworth, NSW.
Monday to Friday shifts from 0700 to 1500.
Weekend and Public Holiday loadings apply.
The successful applicant must provide a current Federal Police Check certificate (or be willing to apply for one) and have received at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination.
Duties Include:
* Perform and supervise cleaning in an Aged Care facility, including resident rooms, public areas, toilets, and dining rooms.
* Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and participating in the infection control program.
* Maintain records of completion of cleaning schedule duties.
* Ensure safe storage and use of cleaning agents, including correct quantities and types.
* Staff management and training.

* Excellent communication skills—proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
* Dedication and enthusiasm.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Safe use of chemicals.
* Knowledge of Work, Health & Safety and Infection Control.
* High level of respect for the elderly; experience in aged care cleaning is a bonus.
