Overview
As an Agronomist at our Dubbo branch you will join a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to forming strong relationships with growers and customers in this diverse agricultural region, with a focus on helping increase their yields.
Responsibilities
- Service growers across the diverse agricultural area of the NSW and surrounding Dubbo region.
- Engage and work alongside a team within an established business, servicing the needs of cutting-edge farmers who have significant experience partnering with producers.
- Responsible for increasing the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises.
- Provide agronomic and technical support to farmers and producers in the region together with product sales, both in-store and on-farm.
- Keep current with latest plant production practices and coordinate field days and farmer meetings with a focus on broadacre winter cropping.
Qualifications
- Full working rights within Australia and previous experience in an agronomy position, ideally within a commercial environment.
- Robust technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application, ideally with experience in winter cereal crops.
- History of success in executing sales outcomes using specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical products.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
- A driver’s licence is required.
