What This Job Involves This role involves supporting facilities management across an assigned portfolio of Commonwealth Client properties, implementing best practices for both owned and leased premises while managing facility services for Wo AG properties within JLL's remit.
The position requires building strong working relationships with Portfolio Managers, Client Operations Managers, and client site staff to effectively deliver facilities management activities.
Regular site visits are essential for asset validation, safety and condition inspections, building fabric assessments, and client engagement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering contract initiatives while ensuring consistent processes, systems, and reporting across the portfolio.
About the role: Implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals, supervise maintenance requirements, and manage 24/7 afterhours client service Identify process optimization opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality while ensuring minimal business disruption Control assigned budgets, monitor costs, identify savings opportunities, and manage vendor spend within financial delegation limits Monitor key performance indicators, develop improvement plans, and serve as the primary facilities management contact for the regional portfolio Provide leadership and mentorship to operational teams while supporting recruitment, training, and onboarding activities Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks Fulfill health and safety responsibilities, report incidents according to protocols, and adhere to JLL's business conduct guidelines Assess operational performance and prepare reports with insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making Support the Facilities Management Vertical with appropriate client reporting solutions Propose and implement continuous quality improvement practices and industry best practices across operations Sounds exciting? This is what we're looking for: Minimum 3 years' experience in Facility, Property, or related field, preferably with Government or Corporate Sector clients Strong oral and written communication skills with proven ability to lead teams and liaise effectively with stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strong overall computer skills Knowledge of HSE requirements, Australian Standards, and vendor management for specialized services Understanding of basic technical property aspects and fixed maintainable assets Ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Clearance and associated Entity clearances Must be an Australian Citizen (tertiary qualification in Building/Facility Management or Business Administration advantageous but not essential)About JLLAt JLL, we see a Brighter Way forward for our clients, our people, our planet, and our communities.
