About the Role
CareSouth is looking for a fixed-term (12 month parental leave cover), part-time (30.4 hours per week) Caseworker to join our team in Wagga Wagga.

As a Caseworker you will be a part of a team which works dynamically across the child protection spectrum, from family preservation, permanencysupport, restoration and adoption.
What you need to be successful in your role
* Demonstrate a commitment to the safety of children, young people and people with a disability.
* Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Diploma in Social Sciences / Social Welfare or equivalent or working towards
* Demonstrated understanding of the issues facing vulnerable children and their families.
* Sound interpersonal, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a high performing team.
* Proven ability to establish and maintain effective community networks.
* Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills.
* Understanding and commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity, Work Health and Safety, Cultural issues and the NSW Child Protection system.
* Willing to undergo a National Police Clearance, obtain a NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Clearance.
