About The Role
Lendi Group is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team designing, developing, and deploying AI systems that drive agentic AI Automation within the property buying, mortgage broking, and financial services sectors. You will work at the intersection of AI, data, software engineering, and financial services, building innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
You will report to a newly formed AI-focused team, working alongside a high-performing, knowledgeable, and fun group. This is a unique opportunity to impact our long-term vision of expanding AI capabilities across the enterprise. The position can be full-time permanent or fixed-term. Due to project requirements, the incumbent will work from our Sydney Head Office four to five days per week.
Job Responsibilities
* Help build an aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly interface designed to empower borrowers.
* Collaborate closely with our Product/UX team.
* Take ownership of major system components, demonstrating expertise in design and delivery, ensuring stability and high quality.
* Build robust, scalable software as part of our AI Disrupt engineering team, laying a resilient technological foundation.
* Write clean, maintainable code supporting continuous integration and deployment, adhering to best practices.
* Lead engineering team processes from planning to deployment and support.
* Own the codebase proactively, including debugging, monitoring, and ensuring reliability in production.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in TypeScript.
* Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
* Strong understanding of front-end technologies, especially React.
* Solid knowledge of back-end technologies like Node.js and Koa.
* Experience with distributed systems.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
* Experience with third-party APIs and services.
* Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented attitude.
