We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator experienced in parks and gardens. This role will manage a small team of qualified/experienced staff to perform ongoing maintenance of our established and thriving open spaces.
Our Ideal candidate will have the ability to problem solve and ensure immediate attention is given to customer/client requests. You must be comfortable using technology and software which will be utilised to complete regular auditing across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
As a valued experienced Maintenance Coordinator you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Coordinate staff to perform works onsite including the correct installation and maintenance of work at each stage, with the support of the Maintenance Manager. Perform supervision of internal teams, subcontractors, and clients where necessary.
Interpret and understand work specifications and drawings.
Ensure works are performed to specifications and delivered to a high standard, within budget and timeline.
Ensure staff conduct a daily toolbox meeting prior to commencing work.
Perform horticulture tasks such as gardening and mowing, within scope and competency when required.
Manage timesheets and work orders as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Audit work and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) compliance onsite as directed.
Complete the Monday.com and contractual auditing procedure.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, candidates must have:
Trade Certificate/Qualification in Landscaping/Horticulture or similar (essential).
3-5 years' experience in the industry as a Team Leader or Maintenance supervisor or similar (essential).
Trade Certificate/Qualification in Facility Management (desired).
Traffic Management Certificate (desired).
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (desired).
