Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager (OSS) to lead and deliver complex Operational Support Systems (OSS) projects within telecom and enterprise network environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in OSS platforms, telecom network operations, system integrations, and end-to-end project lifecycle management.
This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including network engineering, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of OSS transformation, implementation, and integration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of OSS projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Manage implementation, upgrade, migration, and integration of OSS platforms (e.g., Fault Management, Performance Management, Inventory, Provisioning, Mediation).
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
Coordinate with internal technical teams, vendors, and third-party partners to ensure timely project execution.
Monitor project risks, dependencies, and issues; implement mitigation strategies proactively.
Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
Track KPIs, milestones, and deliverables to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, provide project status reports, and manage executive communication.
Ensure compliance with telecom industry standards and best practices.
Support UAT, go-live activities, and post-implementation stabilization.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Project Management within telecom or network environments.
Strong experience in OSS systems (Fault, Performance, Inventory, Provisioning, Mediation, Service Assurance).
Solid understanding of telecom networks (IP, MPLS, LTE/5G, Fiber, Core Networks).
Experience with system integration and API-based architecture.
Proven track record of managing multi-vendor environments.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification.
Experience working with leading OSS vendors (e.g., Amdocs, Netcracker, Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, IBM, etc.).
Experience in digital transformation or BSS/OSS convergence projects.
Knowledge of ITIL framework and telecom service assurance practices.
