Key Responsibilities:
Work with clients on ECI budget targets and cost reports
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of projects.
Work closely with commercial and project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather and analyse pricing information.
Assess project specifications, drawings, and scope to develop comprehensive bids and estimates.
Manage the tender process from inception to submission.
During times of estimating pause, assist contract administrators with contract management and procurement.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as an Estimator in commercial construction
Strong knowledge of contract management, including variations, claims, and reporting.
High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or certifications in construction, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Experience working on commercial or residential projects.
Have a good understanding of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), including prefabrication and modular construction techniques
Understanding of Australian building codes and regulations.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g. Cubit, Procore or similar platforms)
