Urban Planning Role
We are seeking an Urban Planner to fill this challenging position at Merri-bek City Council.
* A tertiary qualification in town planning or a related field is necessary for this role.
* Demonstrated knowledge of statutory planning and related legislation is required.
* Familiarity with practical IT skills applicable to statutory planning processes is essential.
* Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills in a politically sensitive environment are expected.
* Conceptual and analytical skills including problem-solving abilities are necessary.
* High-level verbal and written communication skills are required for this urban planning position.
* A valid Victorian driver's license is mandatory.
