**Key responsibilities**:
- Lead a team of data analysts to identify and implement data and business improvement opportunities to meet the needs of CSQ and to address their future needs and strategic direction.
- Prepare high level authoritative statistical reports, documents, presentations, executive briefs, publications and correspondence as required.
- Foster collaboration and opportunities to use more diverse data, knowledge and expertise for analysis to better deliver on stakeholders' reporting requirements.
- Ensure data outputs satisfy departmental standards for integrity, accuracy and timeliness based on quality principles, procedures, policies and methodologies.
- Lead and manage a team of staff, managing workloads, providing career development, undertaking appraisal performance review and providing consistent and constructive feedback.
- Convey data trends and insights to high level stakeholders using appropriate data storytelling and visualisation techniques, including the use of Power BI.
- Provide advice on Queensland Courts data collection and reporting capabilities to support the development of monitoring and evaluation frameworks across Queensland Government.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality across CSQs data collection.
