Castlegate James has been helping Australian and New Zealand farmers and animal nutritionists achieve optimum livestock production targets through a range of high performance, specialty co– product stock feeds. Castlegate James products are mainly directed at the ruminant feed market, dairy and beef cattle, sheep, and goats.
This role is based in Ballarat. Reporting to the Planning & Logistics Team Lead, the position is responsible for assisting with day-to-day administration functions relating to procurement, production and despatch activities for the various Victorian manufacturing sites along with direct customer sales.
Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent, high quality customer service for all clientele (both external and internal).
* Ensure all transport movements both in and out of the Ballarat site are weighed across the site weighbridge in all instances, weighing's are completed by CJA site personnel only.
* Processing of dockets for all raw materials, co products and manufactured product being delivered into & out of Victorian Manufacturing sites.
* Processing of all Direct Ship dockets from supplier to customer for VIC, SA & WA.
* Assistance with accounts queries relating to dockets completed.
* Assist with logistics with leave coverage when required. Assessing availability of manufactured products, for the site including booking of trucks for both pick-ups and deliveries for raw materials, co products and finished products.
* Assistance with the processing of Ballarat Retail Orders at POS.
Requirements:
* Formal qualifications and / or 5+ years' experience working in administrative role preferably in animal feed manufacturing or alternatively food manufacturing.
* Proven experience with Accounting and Office Administration
* Understanding the manufacturing principles and activities
* Microsoft computer literacy across all programs (D365)
* Knowledge of HACCP, Feedsafe and Quality Assurance Management Systems
* Knowledge of Safe Manual Handling Procedures.
