We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitters or Diesel Mechanics who are looking for a career change, and eager to expand their skills by learning Non Destructive Rail Testing. These positions are for our Ultrasonic Testing contract (Karratha/Tom Price), working on our multi-platform rail diagnostic track machine and FL (Flaw Locator) Road/Rail vehicles.
The ideal candidates will be motivated, enthusiastic team players with a strong work ethic, along with the skills and attitude necessary for success and career progression.
The Role:
This exciting opportunity involves both day and night shifts, offering a unique chance to build a career in Non Destructive Rail Testing, with only minimal use of trade qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain rail diagnostic track machines and road/rail vehicles.
* Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets safely and efficiently.
* Follow all safety protocols and company values.
* Complete tasks as per instructions to a high standard of quality.
Requirements:
* Trade Qualified Mechanic / Mechanical Fitter / Heavy Diesel.
* Committed with 100% safety focus.
* Committed to following the company's values.
* Flexible and able to work well in a team.
* Ability to meet production targets and goals efficiently and safely.
* Valid C class manual drivers licence essential.
* Ability to follow instruction through to task completion.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Fit to category 1 medical requirements with full colour vision.
* FIFO from Perth.
* Commitment to achieve provided training in Cert III Rail Infrastructure, level 1 and level 2 NDT certification via external vendor accreditation through AINDT or BINDT.
Desirable but not essential:
* HR licence.
* 4wd Cert.
* First Aid.
* Rail experience.
