Job Description
BESIX Watpac is seeking a Foreman to join our Qld Construction division. While we hire for the long term, initially you will be based on our Ipswich Hospital Expansion project within a supportive and highly experienced team.
This role will be responsible for:
* Organising on a daily and weekly basis the sequencing of on-site activities, including the co-ordination of materials, equipment and personnel.
* In consultation with the Site Manager, allocating necessary site staff and resources and ensuring that all the resources for the project are available when required.
* Reviewing the construction programme with the Site Manager, re-sequencing activities as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date.
* Ensuring that the Company's policies and practices on safety, industrial relations and quality assurance are implemented at the work face.
* Ensuring compliance with standards and contract documents.
Qualifications
The incumbent in this role will require:
* Qualifications in building/construction, or a trade qualification in a construction related field.
* Demonstrated success supervising the delivery of commercial or industrial building projects within time, cost and quality requirements.
* Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
