Senior Business Relationship Manager role at PwC Australia — 12 months max term contract. All AU locations – Hybrid/Full time – Senior Manager.
PwC Australia's Tech Hub covers a range of areas from leading and supporting the company through to the build or adoption of new technology, to protecting against risk, and delivering valuable data insights that transform our technology capabilities. As a Senior Business Relationship Manager, you'll align IT services with business needs and foster strong relationships between IT and business units, working with clients across Tech Hub to ensure that IT services and solutions meet business needs and support seamless collaboration and prioritise initiatives based on value, building effective relationships with business stakeholders to form partnerships that drive mutual success.
What you'll do
* Demonstrated extensive experience in business relationship management within global professional services, with strong IT support and business process integration knowledge.
* Proven leadership managing technical experts or teams (5–20+), skilled in IT service management and complex problem solving with minimal guidance.
* Provide strategic advice, set annual priorities aligned with business goals, and drive large, impactful projects.
* Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management and influential communication to support long-term strategic objectives across business units.
What we're looking for
* Driving and implementing consistent Tech Governance and demand management strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives and delivery within budget.
* Collaborating with senior leadership to identify and prioritise technology initiatives that drive business value.
* Developing and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, nurturing partnerships that drive Tech Hub's and business units' mutual success.
* Driving the adoption of and improving awareness of the Tech Risk Governance framework across your stakeholders, contributing to the effective management of our risk profile.
* Managing the demand for IT services in line with digital strategy.
* Understanding business strategies and objectives, and aligning IT services to support them and identifying opportunities for the business to optimise technology solutions.
* Facilitating breaking down barriers between IT and business units to enable fast, efficient and secure operations, enhancing seamless collaboration and overseeing the optimisation of product costs through effective resource allocation and process improvements.
* Ensuring aligned communication of Tech Hub initiatives to the business, delivering clarity and coherence in all interactions.
