Maintenance Supervisor – Bel Air on Broadbeach

Bel Air on Broadbeach is looking for an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in a busy and well-established Broadbeach resort.
This is a great opportunity for a practical and reliable all-rounder who enjoys a varied role, takes pride in presentation and upkeep, and can confidently coordinate day-to-day maintenance in a residential and hotel-style resort environment.
You will be joining StayCo, a respected accommodation management company operating five resorts in Broadbeach and proudly part of the publicly listed Finexia Financial Group Ltd (ASX: FNX).
About the role
This is a casual position based on a 38-hour week, with hours worked across weekdays in line with operational requirements.
The role involves a mix of hands-on maintenance, contractor coordination, preventative maintenance, and general site support to help keep the property operating smoothly and presented to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
* overseeing day-to-day maintenance requirements across the property
* carrying out general repairs and hands-on maintenance works
* responding to maintenance issues in a timely and practical manner
* assisting with maintenance planning and minor works
* monitoring the presentation and upkeep of common property and building facilities
* supporting management with maintenance records, reporting and follow-up
* helping ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to residents and guests
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a busy environment where no two days are the same.
You will ideally bring:
* previous experience in a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Officer, or similar role
* strong practical maintenance and handyperson skills
* the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
* good communication skills and a professional manner
* basic computer skills including email, Excel and Word
* a strong work ethic and pride in maintaining a high standard of presentation
Highly regarded:
* experience in a resort, hotel, apartment, or facilities-based environment
* trade background or practical experience in carpentry, plumbing, painting, patching, or general building maintenance
* previous supervisory experience
* current Australian driver's license
* current Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
