About us:Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit (AMHIU) - we care for people over the age of 18 years who require inpatient care for treatment of mental health issues. The AMHIU is located on the Rockhampton Hospital campus and comprises of 20 Low Dependency beds and 3 High Dependency beds.Older Persons Mental Health Inpatient Unit (OPMHIU) - We provide acute care and management for older people (generally over 65) who have severe mental health disorders and require inpatient admission.
