About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Joiner – Timber to join our dynamic team. The role involves both timber fabrication and installation of components for staircases and balustrades. Working a dayshift roster, you'll be responsible for crafting high-quality timber products, interpreting technical drawings, and operating woodworking machinery while ensuring precision and quality in every piece.
This is a hands-on role in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, where you'll also be actively involved in installation work to deliver finished products directly to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cut, shape, and assemble timber components for staircases and balustrades with high attention to detail.
* Interpret technical plans, sketches, and instructions to complete jobs accurately.
* Select and operate woodworking tools and machinery in line with safety and quality standards.
* Inspect completed items to ensure they meet the required specifications.
* Participate in installation of timber products at customer sites as required.
* Work with the team to ensure efficiency, meeting daily production targets and deadlines.
* Adhere to health and safety protocols in all aspects of your work.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Trade qualification in Carpentry, Cabinetmaking, or Shopfitting.
* Experience in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.
* Proficient in the use and maintenance of woodworking tools and equipment.
* Knowledge of timber properties and joinery methods.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
* Full Driver's License and ability to travel for installation duties (where required).
