About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Education Leader to join our centre in a leadership capacity. This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood professional who is passionate about quality education, team leadership, and ongoing professional growth.
You will play a key role in leading educators, supporting high-quality educational programs, and fostering strong partnerships with families, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
What You'll Be Doing:
· Lead, mentor, and support educators to deliver high-quality early learning programs
· Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate educational activities aligned with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
· Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and development to inform practice
· Facilitate language development through storytelling, songs, rhymes, role play, and group discussions
· Provide experiences that support children’s motor skills, confidence, social cooperation, and well-being
· Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised learning environment
· Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework and centre policies
· Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
· Actively involve parents in their child’s learning journey, including parent interviews and ongoing communication
· Guide and mentor student teachers on placement
· Participate in staff meetings, committee meetings, and centre planning
· Collaborate with the wider team to support the overall success of the centre
· Actively engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching and leadership practice
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher
* Current Working with Vulnerable People Check
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated ability to manage and direct educators
* Strong working knowledge of the NQF and EYLF
* Experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs
* Ability to create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
* High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion

Job type: Full Time
Salary: AUD 76,600 plus superannuation (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
