Job Title: Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader - Classroom Teacher
Mental health and wellbeing are critical aspects of a student's overall educational experience. As a Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader - Classroom Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of students in a primary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to staff to better identify and support students with mental health needs
* Establish clear pathways for referral for students requiring assessment and intervention
* Monitor and evaluate student progress
You will work closely with other members of the school community to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all students. The successful applicant will have experience in teaching and/or working with children aged 5-12, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements:
* Provisional or full registration approved by the Victorian Institute of Teaching
* Experience in teaching and/or working with children aged 5-12
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
