**Who are we looking for?**

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Executive Centre Assistant (Brisbane) 2 Positions to join QUT Graduate School of Business, Faculty of Business and Law, Academic Division.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly-motivated Executive Centre Assistant with a passion for providing high quality client service and support of the QUT Executive Education Centre. The right person for this role will demonstrate: commitment to high quality client service, flexibility, discreetness, effective communication and interpersonal skills with exceptional attention to detail and skills in the use of a range of office software. This position is responsible for ensuring the maintenance and operational readiness of the QUT Executive Education Centre. This includes the preparation and provision of catering, liaising with external suppliers and being a welcoming point of contact for executive program participants, corporate and government executives, staff, contractors, national and international guests.

**What you need to succeed**

You will demonstrate:
1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of Year 12 with relevant work experience in a hospitality or event support role.
2. Demonstrated attention to detail in the provision of quality client service and the ability to work productively, self-manage and take initiative to complete tasks in an independent environment.
3. Demonstrated willingness to maintain a very high standard of cleanliness and operational readiness of the Executive Education Centre
4. High level and professional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to effectively communicate with participants, clients, suppliers and University staff in the provision of professional quality client service.
5. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a client-focussed team and to develop harmonious and collaborative working relationships with colleagues and clients.
6. Demonstrated competent computer skills, particularly in MS Office, the use of corporate systems and a willingness to assist in the identification and resolution of audio visual and information technology problems.
