Optical Assistant Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Optical Assistant to join our team in our Williamstown store. As an Optical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers.
Job Description:
Assist our Optometrists with patient care and provide outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personalized customer service to ensure a positive experience for our customers.
* Assist Optometrists with patient care, including taking measurements, preparing patients for exams, and administering eye drops.
* Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the optical area and waiting room.
* Process transactions efficiently and accurately, including handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
* Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in optometry and customer service.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail or hospitality is preferred, but not required.
