About the Role


In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our clients construction team by coordinating supplier pricing, preparing purchase orders, and assisting with material quantity calculations.
You will work closely with site supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure materials and labour are sourced accurately, competitively, and on time.

This is a full-time office based role.

Tasks and Responsibilities

* Sending quote requests to suppliers for construction materials / components
* Issuing purchase orders to suppliers and subcontractors
* Calculating basic quantities of construction materials (e.g., timber, doors, plasterboard)
* Maintaining accurate procurement and job cost records
* Supporting the construction team with administrative tasks as required

Skills and Experience

* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Good numerical skills with confidence in basic material quantity calculations
* Clear communication skills when dealing with suppliers and internal staff
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel experience highly regarded)

* Experience in building industry administration (preferred)
* Previous experience in procurement, construction administration, or similar roles (advantageous)
* Understanding of residential construction materials (desirable but not essential)
