Drive high-performance refrigeration fleet operations at SCT Perth from our brand-new, state-of-the-art Forrestfield facility, leading quality, safety, and efficiency. Oversee freight coordination and local distribution, optimise costs, and ensure seamless AM and PM shift coverage.
* Lead a strong safety culture, ensuring full OH&S compliance, incident reporting, and investigations
* Ensure all staff and contractors are properly inducted, trained, and working safely
* Champion safe work practices and continuous improvement across operations
* Oversee transport incident management through internal systems and processes
* Maintain compliance for equipment, assets, and damage reporting standards
* Ensure correct loading, handling, and protection of customer freight
* Drive team development through mentoring and leadership support
* Deliver efficient operations aligned with procedures, KPIs, and timeframes
* Optimise fleet performance, cost efficiency, and overall profitability
* Manage rostering, leave planning, and run monthly toolbox meetings across shifts
* Formal qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, or related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics/transport operations, including leadership roles
* Proven experience in a similar fleet or operations supervisory position
* Strong knowledge of the transport industry, including regulations and best practice
* Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate high-performing teams
* Solid understanding of HR functions including performance management, recruitment, and training
* Extensive knowledge of OH&S and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance
* Experience using systems such as SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
* Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills with a strong customer focus
