Procurement Specialist - Leading Energy Supplier
Location: Kwinana, Australia Work Pattern: Monday & Friday WFH + Flexible Start/Finish Times Contract: Until end of year
This is a key role for one of the world's leading integrated energy companies-an organisation delivering safe, reliable energy today while driving the transition toward a net‑zero future.
We're seeking a Procurement Specialist to support end‑to‑end sourcing and commercial activities across maintenance and project operations. You'll ensure procurement processes run smoothly, safely, and compliantly-coordinating tendering, supporting negotiations, finalising contracts, and maintaining accurate and audit‑ready documentation.
You'll partner closely with Operations, Technical Services, Projects, HSE&C, suppliers, and contractors, becoming a trusted commercial connection across the business. This role suits someone organised, commercially sharp, and confident navigating complex procurement environments.
What you'll do:
* Coordinate end‑to‑end sourcing, tendering, evaluations, negotiations, and contract finalisation
* Interpret contract terms and provide commercial insights to support decision‑making
* Prepare sourcing proposals and procurement documentation
* Manage day‑to‑day procurement administration for both operational and project needs
* Maintain accurate contractual and commercial records with strong document control
* Oversee logistics, access control, and procurement‑related site requirements
* Own procurement databases, ensuring data accuracy and audit readiness
* Support project scheduling, deliverables, and performance reporting
* Prepare clear procurement reports, analytics, and performance evaluations
* Ensure contractor onboarding and compliance with ISO and site standards
* Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
What you'll bring:
* Degree in procurement, commerce, law, engineering or equivalent industry experience
* 5-8 years' experience in procurement, contract management, or commercial coordination within an operating asset or heavy industry
* Strong commercial judgement and ability to interpret contract terms
* Experience with sourcing events, evaluations, and award processes
* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
