We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Mechanical or Avionics to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. Your role
In This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs on client aircraft to ensure compliance with regulations and technical publications, maintaining aircraft readiness and operational availability.
* Accurately document all maintenance tasks, ensuring work sheets, logs, tracking systems, and other required records are completed and submitted promptly.
* Work collaboratively with managers, engineers, pilots, and emergency service teams to optimize aircraft availability and performance.
* Support base operations by preparing tasks, maintaining stores, and performing ground support equipment maintenance essential for ongoing operations.
* Maintain accountability for tool control and ensure the cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of hangars, workshops, related workspaces, and vehicles.
* Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to the safety management system and other company policies and procedures.
The essential requirements
* Type Rated or 3+ years experience on the B200 (essential) and B350 King Air (Preferred)
* Heavy Maintenance Experience
* Experience leading an engineering team.
* Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical) or Trade Certificate IV (Avionics)
* CASA licence
* Highly skilled and competent in aircraft avionic/mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components;
* Strong team player;
* Ability to follow supervisory direction;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
* Passion for safe work practices;
* Valid work visa;
* Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
* Driver's licence.
