At an exciting time to join Score's Production team in Gladstone, we are looking for a Trades Assistant,who shares their passion and drive for excellence and success.
TheTrades Assistantwill be working within our Production team,assisting the Workshop and Warehouse as directed, in line with company, HSE and Quality standards.
This position is Monday to Friday for local residents of Gladstone or surrounding areas, this role is not FIFO.
Preference will be given to applicants with work experience as a Trades Assistant in a similar industry, however entry-level candidates with an interest in working in this field will be considered.
Responsibilities
Duties shall include, but will not be limited to:
Assist workshop with valve maintenance, repairs and testing.
Equipment & Tooling checks, maintenance and repairs
Packing and preservation of goods being shipped.
Loading and unloading of deliveries.
Assist warehouse team with stocktake and selection.
Equipment condition checks for preservation purposes.
Create shipments, deliveries, single return forms and deliverables without reference (DWR) documents.
General in-house maintenance and yard duties as required.
Ensuring that all work performed meets with the requirements of NATA and ISO **** standards.
Ensuring that company and clientele procedures are being followed for all work being carried out.
Maintaining, at all times, emphasis on safety & quality.
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Tradesperson role or worked within the mechanical and/or Manufacturing industry (desirable)
Current Drivers Licence
Knowledge and skillset
Technically minded
Ability to liaise with other departments to coordinate work efficiently
Excellent verbal and written communicationskills
