What we are looking for
As a Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Business Development team by providing technical expertise, solution design, and deployment support for our IIoT product range.
You'll be the technical backbone of our national sales efforts, helping customers understand, adopt, and implement advanced networking and OT technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Business Development team to provide pre-sales technical support and solution design.
Assist customers in design and implementation of robust network architectures tailored to IIoT and OT environments.
Deliver technical presentations and demos to customers.
Conduct training sessions to clients and internal teams.
Assist in proof-of-concept deployments and pilot projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve network and OT system issues during and after implementation.
Stay current with industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies in IIoT and OT networking.
Conduct site assessments and network audits for clients in mining, energy, and industrial sectors.
Provide feedback to product teams and vendors to improve solution offerings.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Networking, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years of experience in industrial networking and / or process control, preferably in mining, utilities, or renewable sectors.
Strong understanding of industrial automation, IIoT protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, MQTT, OPC UA, etc.) and OT systems.
Experience with industrial-grade switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles in OT environments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel nationally to support client engagements.
Preferred Certifications
Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent
CompTIA Network+/Security+
ISA/IEC ***** or other OT cybersecurity certifications
