**The Role**
Reporting to the Assistant Director, School Approvals and Payments, the Program Officer is responsible for working in a team collecting school funding data and calculating funding entitlements under the Australian Education Act 2013.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the APS4 Program Officer may include:
- Engaging with stakeholders to manage a variety of issues associated with school approvals and school funding
- Monitoring team mailboxes and responding to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Answering and responding to telephone queries from external stakeholders
- Contributing to and implementing business improvements by reviewing, updating and creating standard operating procedures and guidelines
- Monitoring and maintaining data on department systems to ensure compliance of approved authorities for schools in accordance with legislative frameworks
- Supporting schools in submitting student and staff data for the non-government school census collection
- Analysis of non-government schools census collection to ensure accuracy of data
