Since opening in 2015, Continental Delicatessen has become a much-loved part of the Newtown community—welcoming locals, visitors, and regulars from all over with our signature hospitality and European bistro-style menu.
Located in the historic H. May Building, Continental is known for its thoughtfully curated tinned goods, cheeses and charcuterie, iconic cocktails (including the famed “Mar-Tinny”), and its warm, approachable atmosphere. Whether it’s a seat at the bar for a few Gildas or a long lunch upstairs, guests return time and again for an experience that’s both familiar and unique.
We’re now looking for a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
About the Role
As Chef de Partie, you’ll play a key part in delivering a consistent, high-quality offering across lunch and dinner service. You’ll work closely with our Head Chef and wider team to prepare, cook, and present dishes that reflect Continental’s distinct style—seasonal, European-inspired, and proudly grounded in Australian hospitality.
