About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Hospitality Support Professional to deliver exceptional support to our hospitality function within our care home. As a key member of our team, you will use your fantastic food services and cleaning skills to provide our residents with an empathetic and personal approach.
Job Responsibilities:
* Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards by adhering to all relevant policies and procedures
* Complete required documentation and reporting in a timely and accurate manner
* Respond promptly and professionally to residents' queries and requests, providing a high level of customer service at all times
* Assist with laundry duties including loading washers & dryers, sorting linen, hanging, folding, wrapping or ironing linen
* Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food preparation, serving meals and snacks, clearing dining areas and washing dishes
* Cleaning duties include general cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, colleagues and other stakeholders
* Cleaning or catering experience is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate
* Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons and evenings
* You will have an understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
