The Role
Millennium have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and reliable cleaners to become part of our team at Newcastle! This role is ideal for individuals who love working in a fast‐paced environment, have great attention to detail, and enjoy creating clean and welcoming spaces for our clients and customers. We have multiple casual positions available, with shifts across weekends and weekdays. This position will be based on award wages.
Roster
Casual positions available. Shifts may be day or night, depending on supervisor requirements. Must be open to any shift! - 7 Days availability
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard
* Spot cleaning and sanitising surfaces
* Sweeping and mopping
* Toilet cleaning and sanitation
* Rubbish collection
* Cleaning of glass, both internal and external
* Plane turn around cleaning
* Waste disposal throughout the airport
About You
* Demonstrated cleaning experience.
* This role requires unescorted access to secure airport areas, so applicants must hold a valid ASIC or be eligible to obtain one.
* Proven experience of working in a team successfully.
* The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Can demonstrate strong reliability and punctuality while at work.
* Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
* Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays when required.
* Experience with floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus.
You must have valid work rights in Australia.
