Ensure that effective administrative and secretariat support, focusing on financial accounts, human resources and information management, is provided to the work unit in a timely manner / opportunity located in Fortitude Valley.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Project Officer, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective administration and secretariat support with a key focus on financial accounts, human resources, and information management.
Furthermore, you will:
* Organise all administrative aspects of the office by providing services for meetings, seminars and conferences, events, travel arrangements and appointments.
* Provide financial administrative support to the business unit by undertaking activities associated with procurement, budgeting, asset management, accounts payable and receivable and systems application.
* Provide human resource support to the business unit by undertaking activities such as maintaining establishment, providing basic HR advice, and applying legislation.
* Contribute to the development of best practice in business systems by monitoring and reviewing work practices and making recommendations which lead to continuous improvement.
* Provide efficient and effective support to the work unit by maintaining efficient records management and information management systems.
* Manage Fleet Cars by arrangement of cleaning, servicing, repairs, end of lease returns and logbook maintenance.
Specific Working Conditions
* A Class C Drivers licence is a requirement for this role.
* This position may be required to travel.

* Experience in solving problems and implementing solutions within a set timeframe.
* Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
