About the Role
This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced Forklift & Machine Operator to join a busy concrete manufacturing facility in Yatala.
You’ll be responsible for safely operating forklifts and production machinery to move freshly manufactured concrete pipes, completing daily equipment checks and ensuring products are handled with care to prevent damage. The role also involves assisting with mould operations — including opening, cleaning, preparing, and closing moulds around reinforcement cages.
Additional duties include finishing concrete pipes, cleaning verticals, and removing keepers as required. This position suits someone physically fit, safety-focused, and comfortable working long shifts in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Details
* Pay: $35-40p/h with overtime available
* EARN BETWEEN 90-110K PER YEAR TAKING IN TO ACCOUNT ALL PENALTIES INCLUDED!!
* Shifts: Day shifts starting at 4am OR 6am (10+ hours)
* Shifts: Arvo shifts (10+ hours)
* Location: Yatala, QLD
* Casual trial will last for 4-8 weeks, a medical undertaken and full-time commencement if suitable. Stronger candidates may be presented with a full-time contract offer with no casual trial required.
What We’re Looking For
* Current LF Forklift Licence
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
* Machine operating experience desirable but not essential
* Minimum 1 years forklift experience, ideally in manufacturing
* Physically fit with the ability to work 10+ hour shifts
* Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
* Reliable, practical, and able to work under pressure
