About the role: The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for providing electrical engineering expertise to optimise plant performance and reliability, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective operations. The role is accountable for upholding electrical standards and compliance, maintaining plant condition, and delivering sustainable improvements in train unloading and ship loading rates. As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll manage a small team of Electrical Engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives, lead the delivery of electrical projects, and provide technical guidance and support across the business. About you: Formal degree qualifications in electrical engineering, with well-rounded experience in industrial plant engineering. Proven project management capability. Ability to manage a small team of employees and contractors, fostering team collaboration and delivering results. Expertise in electrical design and commissioning skills, ensuring systems are installed and operate effectively. An understanding in PLC and SCADA programming. Experience in breakdown recovery, responding efficiently to minimise downtime and maintain operations. Skilled in preparing and presenting reports and documentation to diverse audiences, from operations to senior management. Current knowledge of relevant legislative requirements, ensuring compliance across all engineering activities. Proven commitment to safety management. Experienced in computerised maintenance management systems and other technical software applications.
