We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to lead our energy storage business development and sales operations in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving market expansion, building strong customer relationships, managing key accounts, and overseeing the company's commercial strategy in the region. This role requires a deep understanding of the local energy market, strong leadership, and proven success in sales within the renewable energy or energy storage sector.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share for energy storage products and solutions in Australia.

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, business opportunities, and competitive landscape.

Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, utilities, EPCs, IPPs, and large industrial customers.

Sales & Business Growth

Lead end-to-end sales processes, including pipeline development, negotiation, contract signing, and revenue achievement.

Deliver on sales targets and KPIs for the Australian market.

Collaborate with global and regional teams to design customized solutions for customers.

Leadership & Management

Serve as the Country Manager, responsible for overall operations, compliance, and business presence in Australia.

Build, train, and lead a local sales and support team as needed.

Represent the company in industry forums, exhibitions, and networking events.

Partnerships & Alliances

Identify, evaluate, and manage partnerships with local distributors, integrators, and strategic partners.

Drive long-term collaboration with stakeholders in the energy storage ecosystem.

Qualifications & Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or a related field.
* Minimum 8–10 years of sales and business development experience, with at least 5 years in renewable energy, energy storage, or power sector.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large-scale projects.
* Strong network and established relationships with key players in the energy industry.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently, with entrepreneurial mindset and strategic thinking.
* Willingness to travel frequently within Australia.
