South Gippsland Shire Council endeavours to actively support local secondary schools, by hosting work placement opportunities for students studying Vocational Major (VM) in their VCE Studies. This is a great introduction to local government and can assist in developing and enhancing your skills within the workforce.

Due to legislation, all work experience students must be aged 15 years or older to be able to complete work experience at South Gippsland Shire Council.
Work placement positions are not guaranteed, we endevour to place as many students as possible.
