Key Position: Head Cook
The role of the Head Cook is to oversee and manage kitchen operations ensuring high standards are consistently met.
* Maintaining quality control in all kitchen operations
* Supporting recruitment, training and development of kitchen crew
* Collaborating with the Restaurant Manager on profitability, including Cost of Goods Sold, Labor and Operating Expenses
* Ensuring compliance with food safety and Work Health & Safety policies and procedures
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you'll need:
* Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or cooking role within the hospitality industry
* A proven track record of leading and developing a team
* A Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent experience
* A good understanding of food safety concerns
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
