Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise daily operations of the Finance Accounting & Operations Unit / Management Accounting Unit
* Efficient and accurate services in accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel and credit card administration
* Internal and external financial and regulatory reporting
* Preparation of the annual financial statements and ANAO audit process
* Budget and forecast development, project financial reports, performance analysis
Key Duties:
1. Provide strategic advice and guidance in financial management to support business operations and organisational objectives
2. Create and maintain a robust internal control environment around financial processes and systems
3. Lead and manage a small team and invest in staff development
4. Demonstrate and encourage innovation to deliver continuous business improvement in financial systems and processes
5. Build and maintain effective, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
6. Implement, promote and apply the National Archives' Vision, Mission and Commitments as expressed in Strategy 2025-2030: Evolving National Archives and Our Values
