Note: This is a Speech Pathologist Level 3 position. If no appropriate Level 3 applicants are available, applications from Level 1 and 2 will be considered. The selection criteria reflect the requirements for a Level 3 applicant. Level 1 or 2 applicants should demonstrate their level of competence with regard to the same criteria and their ability to progress toward Level 3. The incumbent's performance will be commensurate with years of experience and current level at appointment, and will work toward meeting the Level 3 criteria.

Our Aged Care Services team includes a Nurse Unit Manager, Allied Health professionals, Transitional Aged Care Program staff, Aged Care Assessors, and Psychogeriatric specialists, all working together to make a real difference every day.
You'll have the ongoing support of a fellow Speech Pathologist based at Wingham Community Hospital, ensuring you stay connected and confident in your clinical decision-making.

Deliver comprehensive assessments, tailored treatments, and meaningful interventions that support independence, participation, and quality of life for older clients. The role spans both hospital and community settings, allowing you to build strong therapeutic relationships while supporting smooth transitions of care. You'll have access to high-quality professional development and hands-on support from our Aged Care Services Manager to grow your skills and thrive in your career.
About You
We're looking for a compassionate and driven clinician who:
* Brings solid experience in aged care and/or rehabilitation
* Has exceptional time management and organisational skills
* Embraces feedback and continuous learning
* Works well independently and thrives in a collaborative team environment
* Holds a bachelor or postgraduate degree in Speech Pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.

* * Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the contract duration. Payments to part-time and contract employees are pro-rata.
