The Role
You'll assess business management systems for compliance with ISO standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, working directly with both senior management and frontline teams.
Certification audits are delivered across a diverse client base using a hybrid auditing model. This approach combines remote audit planning and document review with onsite visits for client discussions, interviews and operational verification, keeping work interesting, varied and practical.
Work is shared between client sites, work from home (WFH), and, if preferred, our new North Ryde office (opening late April 2026). Flexibility is built around audit schedules and client needs, rather than rigid or fixed WFH days, allowing for autonomy while staying connected to clients and the team.
Most clients are located within Greater Sydney, with only occasional travel required elsewhere in NSW.
What You'll Be Doing
* Conduct ISO certification audits (primarily ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001)
* Plan and prepare audits, including document review and audit programs
* Meet with clients and their staff and observe operations at client sites
* Prepare clear, professional audit reports and certification deliverables
* Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
Our clients range from sole practitioners to large organisations. Success in this role requires confidence communicating with people at all levels and in different operating environments.
About You
* Australian permanent residency or citizenship
* 3+ years' experience working with certified management systems (e.g. management representative or auditor)
* A sound working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001, gained through study or practical experience; experience working within an organisation with a certified management system is highly regarded.
* Confident communicator who enjoys engaging with people at all levels
* Well organised, customer centric, self-motivated and comfortable working independently
* Able to write clear, concise and practical audit reports
* Based in Greater Sydney and able to attend client sites and the North Ryde office as required
* You are tertiary educated. Qualifications in Engineering, Business, Science or Cert IV in WHS / Environmental Management are desirable
* Most importantly, you enjoy helping people and take pride in sharing your knowledge
