Barista – The Common Room Café Project | Stirling
The Common Room Café Project is seeking an experienced, career-minded Barista to join us as we establish a refined, quality-driven café experience in Stirling.
This is not just another café role. We are building a space grounded in precision, hospitality, and community — where coffee is treated with respect and service is delivered with intention.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a barista who understands that exceptional coffee is the result of discipline, consistency, and care.
You will be responsible for:
* Dialling in espresso with accuracy and consistency
* Maintaining extraction standards throughout service
* Executing milk texturing to a high specialty standard
* Managing workflow calmly and efficiently during peak periods
* Engaging guests with confident product knowledge
* Contributing to a culture of professionalism and refinement
What We Expect
* Minimum 2–3 years experience in a specialty or high-volume quality café
* Strong technical understanding of espresso theory and milk chemistry
* Attention to detail and pride in clean, organised workstations
* Confident communication and polished presentation
* Reliability, maturity, and a long-term mindset
We value baristas who see coffee as a craft — not simply a task.
What We Offer
* Award wages with performance incentives
* Stable, consistent hours for the right candidate
* The opportunity to help shape systems and standards from launch
* A focused, quality-first environment
* Leadership that values growth, accountability, and excellence
The Common Room Café Project is designed to feel considered and intentional — a space where every cup reflects the standard behind it.
