Do you have a passion for pastry and an eye for detail? We're looking for a Casual Pastry Commis Chef to join the team at Hay St Market, working in a fast-paced kitchen where creativity and quality are valued.
What are your responsibilities:
* Assist with daily production of pastries, breads, tarts and desserts.
* Prepare ingredients and dishes to recipe and presentation standards.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety.
* Support stock control and minimise waste.
What we're looking for:
* Passionate about pastry and eager to develop your skills.
* Previous experience as a pastry chef is essential.
* Experience in a professional or high-volume kitchen.
* A positive team player who works well under pressure.
* Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
* Bakery experience is an advantage.
