The Animal Emergency Centres (AECs) offer premier after-hours veterinary care for sick and injured pets. They are part of Australia's largest emergency and specialist veterinary group, hosting the country's largest team of Emergency Veterinarians and Criticalists.
Job Description
This role provides a unique opportunity to expand your leadership skills and contribute significantly to the ongoing success of the business. You will serve as the clinical leader, fostering a supportive and harmonious workplace. Responsibilities include reporting, reviewing case histories, and assisting the Business Manager with management tasks.
AEC Varsity Lakes is a purpose-built 24/7 emergency and critical care centre equipped with advanced clinical tools such as multi-parameter monitors, in-house laboratory with PT/APTT and blood gas analysis, endoscope, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and an on-site ventilator for immediate and ongoing care.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years' emergency veterinary experience
* Essential ECC experience; memberships highly regarded
* Leadership skills with a passion for motivating teams and creating a supportive learning environment
* Exceptional organization, communication, and management skills
* Compassionate veterinarian with a strong focus on patient care
