Primary objective
Manage and coordinate eLearning projects including the design and development of innovative, engaging and accessible
online learning modules and resources to meet Agency learning needs.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Design and deliver a range of eLearning and flexible development related projects in accordance with organisational
priorities.
2. Contribute as a team member and collaborate across business units to gain insight, engage stakeholders, and translate
their needs into user-friendly and impactful digital learning experiences.
3. Manage small to medium projects to achieve learning and development outcomes and ensure priorities are met within
required timeframes.
4. Research, review and implement educational technologies to enhance learning and development within the Agency,
including recommending new initiatives in relation to eLearning development.
1. Provide advice to course designers and trainers on flexible, blended and eLearning options and strategies.
2. Develop communication materials to support implementation of the online eLearning programs.
3. Develop procedural and/or training resource materials to support the development and application of eLearning.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Highly developed knowledge and experience in training design, delivery and assessment via a range of educational
technologies, including eLearning.
2. Sound project management experience including stakeholder engagement, product development, implementation and
review.
3. Experience in the development of procedural and or training manuals and multi-media materials.
4. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team within tight time frames to meet deadlines.
5. High level verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate complex issues in a succinct manner and
achieve outcomes through liaison, negotiation and influence.
6. Demonstrated skills collaborating with stakeholders, including subject matter experts (SMEs), to identify training needs,
map learning objectives and creates prototypes for eLearning materials.
7. High level computer literacy, including experience in the use of multimedia software.
Desirable
1. Qualifications in eLearning, Information Technology, graphic design, multi-media, project management or other relevant
areas.
