Accounts Payable Officer - Fixed Term Contract

The Position
As an Accounts Payable Officer you will primarily be responsible for end-to-end AP function, ensuring invoices are approved, entered and paid on a timely basis.
Key responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately
• Responding to creditors' enquiries and general accounts enquiries.
• Preparation and reconciliation of weekly payments for both local and international suppliers.
• Collaborating with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure Purchase Orders updated correctly
• Monitoring and managing tasks in Accounts inbox
About You
• Ability to process, investigate and analyse financial information and minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Basic understanding of General Accounting Principles and Legislation.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills and understanding of Accounting Systems (Pronto).
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and to be able to work with minimal supervision.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance (Baseline ). The successful candidate MUST be able to obtain clearance prior to commencement.
