The Role
We are currently searching for a Registered Nurse to join our Community Hospital in the Home team in Melbourne's North Western region - Sunbury and surrounds. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years recent experience working in the acute hospital setting and be confident with working autonomously.
Responsibilities
- Travel will be required for the role. You will have the opportunity to work with innovative medical and nursing professionals who see health care differently.
- Working alongside major Public & Private Hospitals to support their patients with early discharge support.
- Delivering hospital substitution programs, post-acute care, and ambulatory infusion services.
What you’ll need
- Registered Nurse with consolidated skill set including chronic & post-operative wound care, IV infusion, venepuncture, urinary catheterisation, respiratory assessment, split skin graft & donor site management and comprehensive care planning experience
- Ability to problem solve and use initiative
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal
- Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise
- Current National Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain one)
- Current Driver's Licence and your own reliable car fully insured, as well as your own computer/tablet, printer & phone
- Working remotely/independently within a geographical region under the supervision of our Senior Clinical Lead
