Job Title: Operations Coordinator
At our South Guildford depot, we are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Operations Coordinator. This is a hands-on operational role with alternating weekly shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating daily workflows to meet deadlines and ensure efficient service delivery.
* Plan and schedule efficient delivery and pickup routes for our fleet.
* Liaise with customers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to ensure service expectations are met.
* Creating and sending manifests, including accurate data entry of consignment notes and matching documentation to the correct fleet/driver.
* Work closely with drivers, warehouse staff and administration.
* Entering and updating freight information in our Freight Management System.
Requirements:
* Proven administrative transport knowledge and experience.
* Highly organised and excellent attention to detail.
* Strong customer service orientation with effective and professional communication skills to engage with drivers, customers, and management.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise under time pressures.
* Have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* A proactive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
