Job description
We are looking for an experienced Apiarist to join our large commercial apiary in Tumut NSW.
The role of Apiarist will be responsible for planning and coordinating operation of apiary to ensure maximum production of beehives through good beekeeping practices. The duties will involve hive management, queen rearing, queen replacement, harvesting and extracting honey as well as general maintenance.
Qualification requirements
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following attributes:
5 years prior experience working as an Apiarist.
Be physically fit and able to life heavy weights
Good and sound knowledge of beekeeping
Ability to work unsupervised
Be able to work in a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,500.00 – $80,000.00 per year
